A cyclist was taken to hospital after being injured in a car crash.

Police are trying to trace motorists who stopped at the roadside to help.

The cyclist, a 51-year-old man, was injured in a crash with a Vauxhall Insignia.

The driver, a 36 year old woman, was unhurt.

The crash happened at about 6.20pm on Saturday, February 3, on the Goring Crossways roundabout on the A259 at the junction with Goring Street near Northbrook College.

Police are now asking anyone who may have seen what happened, or has footage, to come forward.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "In particular, officers want to trace motorists who stopped at the roadside to assist the cyclist.

"Anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage in the area at the time is asked to come forward and report it to Sussex Police online and quote serial 1018 of 03/02."
