A police inspector who is accused of having sex while on duty could be sacked.
Married Inspector Darren Lane had his police radio on while having sex with a woman when he should have been working, a disciplinary hearing held today at Sussex Police headquarters in Lewes was told.
The hearing also heard the top cop sent explicit pictures and video to the woman while trying to keep the affair secret from his wife.
A hearing at police HQ in Lewes was told the woman sent him pictures of herself wearing lingerie.
In response, the inspector sent a picture of his erect penis with the caption: "Literally zero to 100."
The pair were also sexting when he was on duty, a disciplinary panel heard.

Asked about an occasion when the inspector called at her house, she said: "He had his laptop open and he had his radio on.
"Listening to the radio whilst we engaged in sexual activity.
"We were having full sex."
In one message, Inspector Lane said: "That's the baddest thing I've ever done."
The woman, who cannot be identified, said: "He would normally come round for a couple of hours.
"I recall the comment ‘The baddest thing I've ever done’, he was on duty.
"He only popped in for a little while.
"I don't recall it being that long.
"Half an hour or an hour.
"I can remember he didn't do any work.”
The panel heard Inspector Lane was engaged in a romantic sexual relationship with the woman who worked for a third party working in partnership with Sussex Police.
"I've never had sex on duty," the inspector said.
"My job and my family are everything to me.
"I admit, I have made mistakes.
"I was naive, but I would never do anything to jeopardise my employment with Sussex Police.”
On four separate occasions in April and June 2021, Inspector Lane sent sexual images to the woman and engaged in sexual activity.
If proven, Inspector Lane faces dismissal from the force.
