Major car park improvement works will begin next week.
Withdean Sports Complex’s main car park, in Tongdean Lane, Withdean, will have various work taking place from March 4 until March 8.
This will include removing the barriers and repairing potholes.
More parking spaces will also be added to the site, including three minibus spaces, four accessible parking spots, and seven spaces for parents with young children.

Parts of the main car park will close and parking will be limited to restricted areas while the work is underway.
A spokesman for Brighton and Hove City Council said: "We apologise for any inconvenience caused, particularly on March 4 when noisy machinery will be used to dig out the heavy metal posts."
The scheme is part of plans to improve the centre overall, with new 3G pitches, padel tennis courts, and soft-play facilities to be added later this year.
A £3 parking charge for those staying over three hours will also be introduced this year to free up space for centre users.
The council has also said that a new crossing point is going to be installed at the junction of Tongdean Lane and Withdean Road to improve pedestrian safety.
Work on the crossing is scheduled to start on March 4 and will take approximately four to five weeks to complete.
A diversion will be in place for the first week, with three-way traffic lights set to be temporarily installed until the crossing is complete.
