A cocktail bar has shut its doors for the final time.
Libation, in Second Avenue, Hove, closed earlier this year.
Now, the bar has Heras fencing outside it while major refurbishment works take place inside.
It is part of The Golden Lion Group, owned by Dave Day, whose other venues in the city include Hove Place, The Cricketers and Ladies Mile.
Libation announced the news of its closure on its Facebook in January.
A spokeswoman for the bar said: "You may have seen, you may have heard but it's a 'Thank You and Farewell' from us here at Libation.
"As we close the doors ready for an exciting new project ahead we want to thank each and every customer that has joined us in our time as Libation.
"We wish you a happy new year and look forward to welcoming you back in the future."
People expressed their sadness at the closure.
Sarah Gilbert, from Worthing, said: "We will miss you, we always visited when we came to Hove.
"Look forward to hearing what your new venture is - good luck."
A spokeswoman for the bar told The Argus: "A new concept is under way and we are looking to re-open in mid April."
