Shocking footage shows a teen running for his life after being stabbed in the chest.
Mustafa Momand, 17, was stabbed to death in Queen’s Road, Brighton, in broad daylight.
People tried to save Mustafa but he later died at the Royal Sussex County Hospital following the attack on October 5 last year.
He was stabbed with a “force so severe” that the knife broke through his breast bone and severed one of his pulmonary arteries, Brighton Youth Court heard.
Mustafa had been walking along Queen’s Road in Brighton when the defendant, a 16-year-old from Southwick – who cannot be named for legal reasons - spotted him and stabbed him in the chest.

A statement read out on her behalf said: “I heard people say ‘he has a blade, oh my God did you see the size of that’.
“There were big globules of blood on the floor. I opened up his shirt and saw a stab wound right in the middle of his chest. I said that we needed to compress it.
“He was coughing up blood and there was a gurgling sound. His blood was running down the street.”
Nathan Rasiah KC, prosecuting, opened the case on Tuesday.
The trial continues.
