A man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving after a crash involving a lorry and car.
The crash happened on the A267 Frog Hole Lane junction yesterday at around 2.10pm.
A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving under the influence of cocaine.
Sussex Police said he has been released under investigation.
A woman was taken to hospital for treatment following the crash near Five Ashes which is north-east of Uckfield.

The A272 was closed at Dog Kennel Lane.
Police, firefighters and ambulance crews attended the crash which left the road closed for several hours.
A force spokeswoman said: "Anyone with any information or dashcam footage is asked to report to police online or via 101 quoting 676 of 12/02.”
