The world’s last seagoing paddle steamer will be returning to Sussex this autumn.
The PS Waverley, built in 1946, will be welcoming passengers in Eastbourne as part of its excursions along the South Coast and the Isle of Wight.
The ship is expected to dock at Eastbourne Pier while operating in the area between September 4 and September 25.
Full details have yet to be announced.
The vessel made its first appearance at Shoreham Port last year, with hundreds boarding it as it sailed towards Selsey Bill and on to Ryde on the Isle of Wight.
Crowds also gathered on land to catch a glimpse of the historic ship.
The PS Waverley was built to replace a steamer of the same name which was sunk while evacuating troops from Dunkirk during the Second World War.
The vessel was bought by its current owners for £1 in 1973 and began operating as an excursion ship after being restored.
