An aquarium has revealed a 'seahorse hotel' where people can see the creatures up close and learn more about them.

Brighton's Sea Life centre is hosting the new attraction from now until March 21.

Visitors can watch the seahorses and take part in an interactive trail around the aquarium and pick up a reward.

Children have the opportunity to design their own seahorse.

The event has been designed to suit all ages and aims to give people some good photo opportunities.

Admission is included in the Sea Life admission ticket but it needs to be pre-booked.

The Sea Life centre said the event is "perfect for families" and fun yet informative.

A spokesman for the aquarium said: "Join us at our seahorse hotel event and meet these incredible animals as well as our other amazing Sea Life stars and learn all about them and how you could help to keep them safe."

Tickets for the aquarium can be booked online. If booked in advance, adult tickets are £19 and children £16. Under threes go free.
