The Libertines are returning to Brighton this summer for the final date of a seafront festival.
The On The Beach festival will return to Brighton beach over two weekends in July, with organisers announcing a star-studded line-up.
The rock band, starring vocalists Pete Doherty and Carl Barat, will perform at the festival on July 28 alongside The Charlatans, The Mary Wallopers, The Big Moon, The Futureheads and Chappaqua Wrestling.
Organisers have claimed that thousands of festival goers have already signed up to access a pre sale of tickets next week for the gig.

DJ Carl Cox will also perform a “birthday celebration” set on July 27, two days before he marks his 62nd birthday.
Pre-sale tickets for The Libertines’ performance are due to go live at 10am next Tuesday (February 13), with tickets going on general sale at 10am the following day.
