Plans for a new business park have been given the green light.
The two new commercial buildings will be at the western end of Farningham Road, Crowborough.
It adds on to an industrial estate called Wealden Business Park, which already has 41 other industrial units.
The plans, which were approved by Wealden councillors at a planning committee meeting on February 1, also include parking and landscaping nearby.
Each building will contain four units and will be suitable for general industrial, business and storage and distribution uses.
Skylights are planned on the roof to make the workspaces bright.
The development will feature solar panels, electric vehicle charge points and bicycle storage.
The units will also be built using materials that will provide high levels of insulation.
Councillor Kelvin Williams lead councillor for public health, wellbeing and asset management, said, “This is a great project which will create some very high-end employment space with quality and sustainability at the very core of its design.
“It is anticipated that the development could result in the creation of jobs with dozens more being employed during the development period.
“The development of the units should attract new businesses to the area due to the great network connections with Tunbridge Wells, Kent and London.”
