A boy was left with a broken arm after being attacked.
The 12-year-old boy was assaulted by another boy in Cornwall Road, Littlehampton, at around 4pm on January 17.
Police are appealing for witnesses, particularly two men who reportedly stopped to help the victim who officers believe can help with their enquiries.
Witnesses or anyone with information is urged to contact police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 1300 of 18/01.
