Excitement is growing as a bargain retailer’s newest store nears completion ahead of opening later this month.
The B&M store in Worthing is opening its doors on February 21 and shoppers are happy to see checkouts and shelves inside the former Wilko site.
Fans say the Guildbourne Centre shop is “exactly what the town needs” and means “no more needing to go to Bognor or Crawley”.

But not all reaction has been positive, with one person on Facebook calling for “more independent shops, not another chain store”.
The company has applied for a licence to sell alcohol at its new Worthing store between 7am and 11pm, seven days a week.
Wilko fell into administration in September last year. The site has been empty since.
