All train lines from Brighton are currently blocked after reports of "trespassers" on the line.

Services between Three Bridges and Brighton are currently blocked due to reports of the trespassers earlier this evening.

Rail operators Govia Thameslink Railway are reporting that some services are being altered or cancelled due to the disruption.

Passengers are advised to leave an extra 30 minutes for their journeys.

A spokesman for the rail company, who run all services on the Brighton Mainline, said: "We have received reports of a trespasser on the track between Burgess Hill and Three Bridges.

"All lines are currently blocked between Three Bridges and Brighton and trains are unable to run for the time being until further notice.

"Train services in the area are being altered and the team are working hard to get the line open as soon as possible."
