The author behind the Netflix series Heartstopper is visiting the city for a book signing.
Alice Oseman, who wrote the Heartstopper series of graphic novels, will be visiting The Book Nook in First Avenue, Hove, to meet fans and sign copies of her fifth book in the series.
The coming-of-age LGBTQ+ novel follows the lives of Nick Belson and Charlie Spring as they meet and fall in love.
Vanessa Lewis, co-owner of The Book Nook, said she is “absolutely thrilled” to welcome Alice to the store.
She said: “This is proving to be a very popular signing - everyone is really keen to meet the creator of Heartstopper.”
The book series was adapted into a Netflix comedy-drama in 2022, receiving widespread acclaim.
Filming of the third season of the show ended in December.
Alice will be at The Book Nook at 1pm on Friday, February 16. Tickets are selling fast and are available for £13 from The Book Nook’s website.
It comes as The Book Nook celebrates its 15th anniversary, with a “birthday bash” taking place at All Saints Church in Hove on February 17.
