Emergency services closed a road junction yesterday evening after a two car crash.
Fire crews helped to respond to the smash yesterday evening by cordoning off two red cars involved in the incident in Willingdon Road, Eastbourne.
The road's junction with Park Road was shut following the crash and into the evening. The Argus understands that one person was taken to hospital.
Two cars, a red Ford and red Vauxhall, were cordoned off on the junction following the smash around 8pm on Monday, January 22.
Two fire engines, a fire service car and an ambulance were seen responding to the crash.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Emergency services were called to the junction of Park Avenue and Willingdon Road at 6pm on Monday, January 22 to a two-vehicle collision.
"A woman in her 50s was taken to hospital by the ambulance service for assessment.
"The road reopened at 8.45pm."
