Home Bargains will open a new £1 million store at a Sussex business park.
The new site at the Ashdown Business Park in Uckfield will welcome customers through its doors at 8am on January 20.
Forty-eight new jobs have been created in the community with the opening, 42 of which are new hires.
The 16,846 sq. ft store, which is one of the retailer’s 600 outlets across the country, will offer shoppers a range of products, including homewares, health and beauty essentials, sweets, snacks and drinks, as well as fresh and frozen food.

Home Bargains will donate £2,000 to Uckfield Foodbank, which supports local families in need of food.
Luke Trussler, the new Uckfield store manager, said: “I am really excited to be opening our new store in Uckfield. I have really enjoyed this incredible opportunity to build a team from the very start and to see it through to our opening day. There has been so much support I'm really grateful for and I can't wait to get the store open and trading.
“Uckfield will be a great location for us, and we’re proud to be able to offer local people top-branded goods at exceptionally low prices.”
