A second man has been charged in connection with an assault and robbery at a shop.
Police were called to The Highway in Moulsecoomb, Brighton, at 9.45am on December 6.
A 49-year-old local man was treated at the scene for a head injury.
Witnesses reported seeing three men fleeing from the scene at around 9.45am in a blue Ford Fiesta. The car is said to have collided with another vehicle and a house in nearby Colbourne Avenue shortly after.
Following an extensive search involving the police helicopter, Charlie Crookes, 22, of Norwich Drive, Brighton, was arrested and charged with affray and two counts of being in possession of a knife and robbery.

Crookes, of Norwich Drive in Brighton, appeared at Brighton Magistrates Court on December 8 and was remanded in custody. He is set to appear a crown court on Wednesday, January 17.
A second man – Anthony Kirsten, 44, of Hillside, Brighton – has now been charged with robbery, possessing a bladed article, aggravated vehicle taking, driving without insurance and driving without a licence.
He appeared before Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and was remanded in custody to appear before crown court.
A 57-year-old local man was additionally arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm (ABH). He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
