A pedestrian is in hospital after being hit by a bus in a city centre incident.
The person suffered serious injuries in the collision with the bus which took place at 2.10pm yesterday afternoon.
The crash took place outside the Stagecoach offices in the Southdowns building in Southgate, Chichester.
Bus company Stagecoach say they are investigating the incident with police also looking for witnesses.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a bus and a pedestrian in Chichester.

"The incident happened at around 2.10pm on Wednesday, January 10, outside the Southdown Buildings, Southgate.
"The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
"If you have any information or relevant dashcam footage, report to police online or via 101 quoting 697 of 10/01."
A Stagecoach spokeswoman said: "One of our vehicles was involved in an incident in which a pedestrian was injured at around 2pm on January 10 in Basin Road in Chichester.
"We understand the person involved was taken to hospital. Our first thoughts are for their welfare.
"Safety is our absolute priority. We will carry out a thorough investigation into the cause of this incident."
