Train services are facing disruptions this morning after an electrical fault.
Trains from Brighton railway station towards London may only reach Three Bridges before turning back after a fault with a signalling system near Haywards Heath.
The fault means that services from Brighton and Littlehampton towards Bedford and London Victoria could be forced to stop or divert.
A spokesman for Govia Thameslink Railway said: "A fault with the signalling system between Haywards Heath and Three Bridges is causing disruption to journeys running between these stations.
"As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or diverted.

"Gatwick Express services will run between Gatwick Airport and London Victoria only.
"Littlehampton to London Victoria services will run via the Arun Valley, calling at Horsham and Three Bridges stations, then as normal."
A GTR spokesman also said on X that trains from Brighton to Bedford "may terminate at Three Bridges and start their return journey from there".
Disruption is expected until around 9am.
