A 16-year-old boy has appeared in court accused of dealing cocaine, heroin and possessing a knife.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested in broad daylight on Tuesday, January 9, in Western Road near Churchill Square shopping centre, Brighton.
He denies being concerned in the supply of heroin, crack cocaine and possessing a knife.
Brighton Magistrates’ sitting as a youth court heard that he was interviewed at Brighton Police Station in John Street on the same day as his arrest.
District Judge Amanda Kelly released the youngster on bail.
The teenager has been bailed until his next appearance on January 18 when he will appear at the same court.
