Armed police were called after reports of a man being threatened with weapons.
Officers were called to Southdown Avenue in Hastings after a man was threatened by a group of men as he got into his vehicle just before 3pm on Sunday.
The man drove off and was unharmed.

Armed officers attended the scene of the incident and carried out a search of the area, but no suspects were found.
Enquiries are continuing into the incident and anyone with information is urged to contact police online or by calling 101, quoting 602 of 07/01.
