Brighton has been named the most vegan-friendly city in the UK.
A new study shows it has the most vegan restaurants and vegan takeaways per 100,000 people in the country, topping Manchester, Bristol and London.
The research comes as Veganuary sees more and more people turning to a plant-based diet with searches for vegan restaurants in the city increasing by 50 per cent in the last three years.
According to the study commissioned by train company LNER, Brighton has around eight vegan restaurants and takeaways for every 100,000 people living in the area.
The study cited Terre a Terre and What the Pitta in East Street among the top plant-based eateries in the city.
