A man died in a city centre flat while police arrested another man in the same property on suspicion of drug dealing.
Emergency services were alerted at 11.44am on Friday, January 5, to a man needing medical assistance at a flat in Devonshire Place, Brighton.
Paramedics could not resuscitate the man who died at the scene.
The second man inside the flat, a 37-year-old, was arrested on suspicion of dealing class-A drugs. Police have since released him on bail.

A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: "Emergency services were called to a report of medical concern for a man in a flat in Devonshire Place, Brighton, at 11.44am on Friday, January 5.
“Paramedics were unable to resuscitate the man and he was sadly pronounced dead. A 37-year-old man who was in the flat was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.
“He was later released on bail while further enquiries are continued.”
