A body has been found in the search for a missing 15-year-old boy who went missing.
Sussex Police put out an urgent appeal this morning for the boy and said anyone who saw him should call 999.
The force said he was seen leaving his home in Crawley at around 8am yesterday.
An update this evening said that a body was found and police were now supporting his family.
A force spokesman said: “We are extremely sorry to report that a body has been found in the search for the boy, who was reported missing from Crawley.
“His next of kin have been informed and there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
“Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this tragic time, who are being supported by specialist officers.
“We would like to thank the public for their help in trying to find him.”
