Firefighters were called to extinguish a motorbike blaze in the early hours of this morning.
The engine and fuel tank of the bike went up in flames in Gildredge Park, in Eastbourne, at around 2am today - with its remains being left in the park.
Pools of molten metal formed underneath the bike due to the hot flames which firefighters quickly got under control.
Nobody was hurt as a result of the incident but the bike is not able to be repaired. The cause of the fire is not yet clear.
A spokesman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: "A hose reel was used to put out the fire. No reports of injuries. Police and local council both aware."
