A young man has been arrested after £16,000 worth of jewellery, clothing and other items were stolen in a Boxing Day burglary.
Electrical goods, games, jewellery and clothing were reported stolen the next morning on December 27. Sussex Police also believe a car was broken in to.
The incident happened in Goldring Avenue, Hellingly, just north of Hailsham.

An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary with intent to steal, and aggravated vehicle taking and vehicle damage under £5,000.
He has been released on conditional bail while the investigation continues.
