A section of a major road has been closed until next week for emergency repairs.
Beacon Road in Ditchling, near Hassocks, has been closed by UK Power Networks in order to repair overhead power cables.
The road is closed between Long Park Corner and Neville Cottages and will reopen by January 10.
It comes after Storm Henk caused power outages and disruption across Sussex.
A spokesman for UK Power Networks said: “Most power supplies affected by Storm Henk have been restored, and work will continue until remaining properties are reconnected today.
“After high winds exceeding 65mph and a busy night, there are no widespread power issues this morning.
“Our engineers worked round the clock to find and repair damaged equipment, restore supplies as quickly and as safely as possible and keep residents informed.”
