A new coffee shop has opened on the site of a closed coffee shop - with owners saying it is a unique spot in the city.
The Botanist Coffee Co in Hove took the place of Small Batch in Wilbury Road after it closed in March - promising not just a coffee shop but also a plant shop.
It is the company's second branch after its flagship store in Gloucester Road in Brighton.

A spokesman for the shop said: "Our new site looks picture perfect. Thanks to everyone who has worked so hard over the last few weeks to make it happen.
"Thank you, also, to the lovely locals of Hove for already making us feel so welcome. We now look forward to returning the sentiment."
Small Batch closed its doors for one last time in March amid financial troubles, as revealed by The Argus.
The coffee roasters was founded by backpacker Brad Johnson in 2006.
The Botanist uses beans from Horsham Coffee Roasters, who visit their farmers annually in a bid to tackle corruption or exploitation.
Other suppliers from Sussex including Pharmacie, Caravan, Backyard, Pelicano and Skylark are on offer at the shop alongside hot and cold snacks.
Plants are also up for sale at the shop.
