A woman has been charged with criminal damage following an incident near the city centre.
Police were called to London Road in Brighton on Thursday afternoon (December 28) following reports of criminal damage at a premises.
A witness said they saw three police cars and five officers at the scene of the incident at around 1pm on Thursday.
Katie Budgen, 44, of no fixed address, was arrested and later charged with criminal damage and with obstructing or resisting an officer.
She is due to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on February 8.
