More than a dozen people have been charged with drug offences after more than 600 wraps of heroin and cocaine were seized.

Nearly 400 grams of cannabis as well as weapons and over £25,000 in cash were also seized by police in an operation which saw 19 people arrested.

14 suspected drug dealers aged between 19 and 53 have since been charged with offences including supply of crack cocaine and heroin and assaulting a police officer.

Sussex Police PC Dave Oliver, who led the Operation Centurion scheme in Crawley, said: “We will continue to act on information and intelligence to disrupt County Lines drug-dealing, crack down on offenders and protect those most at risk of harm in our community.”

Over a dozen suspected drug dealers will now face charges in the new year including:

• Ethan Johnson, 22, of Belmont Park, Lewisham, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.

• Harley Spouse, 21, of Charlieville Road, Bexley, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.

• Ismael Cassama, 23, of Blessington Road, Lewisham, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.

• Michelle Stephens, 46, of Henderson Way, Horsham, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.

• David Hedges, 53, of Barfields, Bletchingley, Surrey, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, assaulting a police officer, and possession of crack cocaine, cannabis and a butterfly knife.

• Liam Batchelor, 37, of Boswell Road, Crawley, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.

• Mbye Conteh, 33, of Wantage Close, Maidenbower, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, and possession of criminal property.

• Darelle Jaffa, 35, of Horsham Road, Crawley, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.

• Rhys Nunes, 24, of Scutari Road, Southwark, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, and possession with intent to supply crack cocaine.

• Mark Darko, 26, of Canal Walk, Croydon, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, and possession with intent to supply crack cocaine.

• Charlie Harris, 21, of Warrington Close, Crawley, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.

• Josh Frasier, 29, of Arun Valley Way, Faygate, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, and failing to provide a sample of blood or urine.

• Coralie Wadsworth, 45, of Ashdown Drive, Crawley, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.

• Hans Narainen, 19, of Goodwin Close, Crawley, is charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, possession with intent to heroin and crack cocaine, and possession of cannabis.

Johnson, Spouse, Cassama and Stephens will appear at Lewes Crown Court on January 3.

Hedges will appear before Brighton Crown Court on January 2.

Batchelor, Narainen and Conteh will appear before a court to be confirmed on January 5.

Jaffa, Nunes, Darko, Harris, Frasier and Wadsworth will appear before a court to be confirmed on January 4.

Operation Centurion ran between November 27 and December 8 with a total of 18 county lines arrested.
