A teenager has denied murdering Mustafa Momand in a daylight knife attack in the city centre.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denies stabbing Mustafa Momand to death in Queen’s Road, Brighton at around 5pm on October 5.
A 16-year-old boy pleaded not guilty to his murder at a hearing in Lewes on Friday.

He also denies threatening another man with a knife and a hammer and having a knife in a public place.
The boy will appear again at Lewes Crown Court in January.
A trial is expected in February.
