Shoppers can grab free pigs in blankets in Brighton tomorrow as part of plans celebrating “Friendmas”.
Subway will give away 50 sharing buckets of pigs in blankets at its shop in Lewes Road, Brighton, on Saturday.
The giveaway marks the day that people are most likely to meet up with friends for Christmas events with December 16 being the most popular date for gatherings.
As part of the giveaway Subway is releasing pigs in blankets sharing buckets in its Lewes Road store with the offer redeemable on a first come, first served basis.

Rusty Warren, product innovation manager at Subway, said: “Our research shows that Brits are in love with pigs in blankets and, with lots of us celebrating ‘Friendsmas’ this weekend, we’re delighted to give our new limited-edition sharing buckets for one day only.
“Our succulent Pigs in Blankets Pots are the ultimate festive snack, but our bigger sharing bucket is perfect as the centrepiece to any festive feast.”
