A painter has created prints to sell for charity.
Paul Cary, from Hove, has painted an impressionist scene of Church Road, Hove, with St John the Baptist church in the background and The Blind Busker pub in the foreground.
The dad-of-two, who is a supply teacher at Cardinal Newman in Old Shoreham Road and better known as Paul the Painter, paints scenes of the city in his spare time.
His posters of The Blind Busker have gone on display in the pub of the same name.
“The pub general manager Amy Kortegas and I have got together to organise the sale of the prints,” Paul told The Argus.
They are on sale now and all the proceeds will go to Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.
Paul said: “We are hoping to raise £2,000 for charity. We want to bring some joy to young people in our community that are having to spend their Christmas away from their families and homes because of sickness.”
Paul has signed each of the prints and said the money will go towards buying Christmas presents for patients at the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital and Sussex Eye Hospital.
The minimum donation is £20 to buy a 730mm by 470mm poster.
They are on sale at the Blind Busker pub or you can contact paul via paulmartincary@gmail.com
