Hundreds of red-suited runners will be taking to Hove seafront tomorrow for the annual Santa Dash.
Runners will dress up as Father Christmas and take over the promenade tomorrow for a 5km jog.
The morning event has become an annual tradition in the city which raises funds for children’s charity Rockinghorse.
Starting at Hove Lawns at 10.30am, the run will see Santa dashers sprinting west along the promenade towards Hove Lagoon.
Runners will then turn around at the halfway mark and head back towards Brighton crossing the finish line back by Hove Lawns.
A children’s race of around 400m will also take place shortly before the main event at 10.20am.
Last year’s run raised over £7,000 for Rockinghorse children’s charity.
While entries for the Santa Dash are now closed the children’s event is free to enter.
The charity raises funds for medical equipment and other support services in the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital in Brighton as well as the Trevor Mann baby unit.
Santa Dash begins at Hove Lawns on Saturday, December 9 at 10.30am.
