A suspect is still on the run after a man was injured in an assault this morning.
Officers responded to reports of an attack at a shop in The Highway, Moulsecoomb, at around 9.45am on Wednesday (December 6).
A 49-year-old man, who lives in the area, was treated for a head injury at the scene by the ambulance service.
Witnesses reported seeing three men flee the scene in a Blue Ford Focus which collided with another vehicle and the front of a house in Colbourne Avenue minutes later.

A helicopter was brought in to assist with ground units searching for the suspects.
A 54-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and a 57-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm. They remain in police custody at this time.
Police are still trying to find the third suspect.
