A singer-songwriter’s new tour will bring him to Sussex as he performs at some of the country’s smaller towns and venues.
Jake Bugg’s Your Town Tour will arrive at Worthing’s Assembly Hall on April 27 next year.
Kicking off in Warrington on March 5, Bugg will perform two sets per night, acoustic and electric, rattling through his biggest hits, as well as tracks from his latest album, the top three-charting Saturday Night, Sunday Morning.
“I can’t wait to get out and play tons of tunes to people in their hometowns,” he said.

With local venues constantly under threat of closure and grassroots music scenes dwindling, the Your Town Tour is Bugg’s bid to bring a high profile live show back to some of the country’s towns that have seen drop offs in big touring artists visiting in recent years.
The 29-year-old, who has five albums and numerous hit singles to his name, is best known for hits including Lightning Bolt and Seen it All. Bugg's song Trouble Town is well known as the theme tune for the BBC TV series Happy Valley.
Tickets are on sale from Friday, December 8 at 10.00am.
