A Sussex "Scandi-style bolthole" has been ranked as one of the best lakeside winter stays in the whole of the UK.
The Waterside Lodge in Bodiam has been included among the top 10 stays in the UK meeting the above specification, according to The Guardian.
At the start of the article they wrote: "From romantic hideaways to fun-filled activity centres, a few days by the water is the perfect seasonal tonic".

Waterside Lodge in Bodiam is 'chic, Scandi-style bolthole'
The "Scandi-style bolthole" is also described as "chic" with its white walls and "gleaming blond wood".
If you are fancying a trip away with friends then this place is considered ideal for it as there are two bedrooms offering "comfortable accommodation".
An extra bonus is the hot tub overlooking the water, as well as wood burner that can be utilised in the evenings.
Writing about the lodge, The Guardian says: "This chic, Scandi-style bolthole, all white walls and gleaming blond wood, is a great base for a weekend away with friends, with the two bedrooms offering spacious, comfortable accommodation.
"Located on the Oastbrook Estate and vineyard, the outdoor deck has a hot tub overlooking the pond, with a wood-burner to cosy up in front of after a dip.
"Bodiam Castle is within walking distance and the vineyard offers pre-bookable tours and tastings, while The Curlew in Bodiam is a charming former coaching inn offering upscale Modern British dishes."

Its profile adds: "With free WiFi, this holiday home features a TV, a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and oven.
"Towels and bed linen are offered in the holiday home. The accommodation offers a fireplace."
Pets are stated as not being allowed in the lodge, but it does provide free parking.
