A magical Christmas experience awaits visitors to a Sussex zoo.
Visitors to Drusillas Zoo Park, near Alfriston, can meet Father Christmas snuggled in his cosy cottage, cuddle up to adorable huskies, join in with singing reindeer and indulge in delicious seasonal treats by a giant Christmas tree until December 23.
A spokesman said: "T’is the season to be jolly and only Scrooge himself could fail to feel festive strolling around the park which is draped in twinkling lights, has life sized snowmen and nutcracker dolls, a forest of real Christmas trees, snow-capped theming and a glistening 24ft tree of lights as the centrepiece."
Families can make this Christmas experience extra enchanting by adding in a moment with the big man himself.
The highly in-demand experience includes a personal one-to-one with Santa, photo opportunity and a Christmas gift. Tickets for Santa’s grotto are now available via Drusillas’ online booking system.
Visitors will also have snow much fun meeting huskies in the park’s ice cave, for a nose-to-nose experience to remember. The arctic dogs will be greeting visitors in the events arena.
Back by popular demand, visitors can also enjoy a sing-a-along with the park’s fun singing reindeer trio, also in the events arena.
There are many festive photo opportunities around the park with visitors able to climb inside a giant present, ride Santa’s sleigh and get lost in the Christmas tree forest – not forgetting a seasonal selfie in front of the magnificent 24ft tree of lights.
And there are plenty of gift ideas including vouchers for annual membership, the zoo keeper for the day experience, animal close encounters, zoo photography days and even spider phobia courses.
