This winter season sees the return of the much loved Worthing Ice Rink, in Steyne Gardens. After a delayed opening on the 11th of November because of Storm Ciarán, the ice rink is now open and busy as ever. Sessions are open from 1:45pm to 9:00pm, with cheaper tickets at off-peak times.  With the location being right in the centre of Worthing town, it is the perfect place to celebrate the holiday season.

Repeat customer Una O’Leary emphasised the Ice Rinks “welcoming and comfortable feel”, saying that it was “the perfect balance of busy and exciting but still cosy”. She also praised the staff for their service- “the staff are always trying their best to make you feel welcome and at ease- especially for people like me with little ones- the staff were beyond helpful in making the experience stress-free and enjoyable.”

The ice rink is accessible for people of many ages and abilities, with penguin skate aids available for hire to assist skaters within the height restrictions if required. The rink is also wheelchair accessible and carer’s skate for free, with no need to book a carer’s ticket.

There are lessons available on Saturday and Sunday mornings (for more information contact the rink), group discounts and parties too. The café has returned also, being open daily and offering hot drinks and snacks such as hot crepes, hot dogs and chips to skaters and non-skaters alike.  But if none of those food options take your fancy, Worthing Ice Rink has teamed up with Brio Worthing (an Italian restaurant just a short walk from Steyne Gardens). They are offering a 10% discount off your entire bill with a valid ice rink ticket on the same date that the ice rink ticket was used.

The ice rink is a perfect place to spend an afternoon this winter for people of all ages. For tickets and more information visit the Worthing Ice Rink website.
