The annual lighting of a Christmas tree in the city is set to take place this week.
The Floral Clock at Palmeira Square in Hove will take on a festive new look this week with a Christmas tree, complete with twinkling lights.
On Friday, November 24, mayor Jackie O'Quinn will start the countdown to switch on the lights after carolling at St John the Baptist Church at 3.45pm.
There will also be a chance to climb aboard the festive Brighton and Hove Buses’ Santa bus which will be parked at the square ahead of its first Christmas journey at 5.05pm.
The Floral Clock Christmas tree, a Sussex-grown Nordman Fir Tree from Sussex Christmas Trees, is installed by Brighton and Hove City Council’s Cityparks Projects team.
