A handful of takeaways and fish and chip shops in the county are celebrating after being given awards.
Founded in 2002, the Good Food Awards, which are independent and free to enter chosen winners based on their food quality, service and value.
Takeaways in Brighton, Hastings and Worthing have been awarded a Blue Ribbon to congratulate them on their high ratings from customers.
The Gold Seal is awarded to businesses that achieve consistently top votes and customer ratings over three years.
The Gorilla Kitchen, a pizza van which visits towns and cities across Sussex, won the prestigious Gold Seal.

A spokesman for the Good Food Awards said: "With some 599,370 eating establishments within the UK, competition for our Good Food Awards was unsurprisingly tough.
"We were taken aback by the record number of entrants and votes cast for the finalists by readers, customers and fans alike. It was heart-warming to see the support our winners received."
The remaining takeaways which received the Blue Seal are:
- VIP Pizza in Brighton
- Taco Look At Me Now in Worthing
- Pizza Shed in Hastings
The fish and chip shops which received the Blue Seal are:
- Bardsley's in Baker Street in Brighton
- The Original Chipwick in Worthing
- Maggie's Fish and Chips in Hastings
