A brokerage group won big at industry awards after receiving a record score from judges.
Hooray Health and Protection and Engage Health Group won three awards at the UK Health and Protection Awards.
The firms, in Dyke Road in Hove, were recognised for their work in health insurance, sales and retention and international group advice.
Charlie Cousins, founder of Hooray, said: “This is a huge achievement for a small business in Brighton with 20-odd staff competing against multi-national companies with thousands of staff.
“It’s testament to the hard work everyone has put in and our commitment to ensuring businesses get the best possible advice when investing in employee benefits.”
Engage Health Group’s award received the highest judges score ever recorded by UK Health and Protection.
The group celebrated the win at the awards ceremony in London hosted by comedian Russell Kane.
Ian Abbott, international director at Engage, said: “We really pride ourselves on our international expertise so it’s wonderful to get the recognition.
“We’re able to compete against the biggest brokerage firms because of our commitment to giving bespoke consultancy as opposed to a more generic approach to advising clients.
“We’re keen to further grow the team and expand our offering for businesses in the coming year.”
