Anxiety rates in Brighton are among the highest in the UK.
Make My Blinds has carried out research to reveal the areas of England where residents are getting the best and worst night's sleep based on factors such as anxiety levels, life satisfaction, noise complaints, sleep-related online searches, unemployment figures and average working hours.
Brighton and Hove came third with 28.5 per cent of people reported to have high anxiety.
The city placed 16th for the worst night’s sleep and Make My Blinds said there were 2,944 sleepless Google searches per 100,000 residents.
There were also 9.8 noise complaints per 100,000 residents.
The top ten areas of England where residents are the most anxious:
- Rutland
- North Tyneside
- Brighton and Hove
- Bolton
- Lambeth
- Leicester
- Portsmouth
- Croydon
- Halton
- Manchester
