Brighton is one of the most popular destinations for hen parties this winter.
New statistics reveal that the city was the sixth most popular destination for women to celebrate getting married, ahead of cities like London, Belfast and Cardiff.
The research, carried out by UK hen party planners GoHen.com, used booking stats from November 1 this year to February 29 next year.

Head of events at GoHen.com Ellie Silk: "Obviously, in the summertime, the beach is a big attraction, but Brighton has enough to offer that the bad weather just won’t matter.
“From the vibrant Lanes to the amazing independent bars and eateries, plus enough indoor hen activities to keep you occupied for a month, Brighton is a great choice anytime of the year.”
She added: “Winter brings a whole new wave of hen party preferences,”
“While the allure of summer has hens prioritising Spanish beaches and the sun-kissed UK coastline, groups heading out at the end of the year are looking for some more winter-friendly action with people searching for year-round nightlife and the best indoor activities on offer.
“We do get a few groups chasing some winter sun heading to places like Barcelona and Tenerife, but the majority prefer to stay in the UK."
