A boutique hotel in the city has been named one of the top ten seaside hotels in the country.
Which? has released its list of the best beach breaks and the Artist Residence hotel in Regency Square has ranked highly.
It was rated 3.5 out of five, making it sixth on the list.
The hotel, in the Grade II listed Regency Square, Brighton, wowed the judges with its "seafront views, bold art and slick café bar".

Judges were impressed by the retro touches in the rooms, including the Roberts radios and reclaimed wooden tea trays.
They described the coffee as “punchy” and complimented the breakfast.
For the rest of the day, the hotel only serves nibbles, but judges said the “extensive cocktail list” makes up for it.
Overall, the Which? team said the hotel “brings the outside in by imaginatively capturing Brighton’s convivial energy”.
The peak price for one night is £265.
