Members of the armed forces will be able to travel free in the region as part of a bid to "honour those who have fought and lost their lives."
Brighton and Hove Buses and Metrobus - who operate services in Mid Sussex and Crawley - will give serving members and veterans of the armed forces free travel this weekend.
Celebrations will take place in towns and cities across Sussex over Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday to celebrate those who fought for the country.
Anyone wearing their military service medals or carrying a military ID card will be able to travel for free on buses all weekend.
This comes in addition to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal volunteers who also travel for free until November 25 while fundraising activities continue.
Nick Hill, commercial director at Brighton and Hove Buses and Metrobus said: “We are happy to offer free travel once again to members of the armed forces, both past and present, this Remembrance Day.
"It is our way of honouring those who have fought and lost their lives, whilst also supporting the great work of the Royal British Poppy Appeal.”
