A road is closed after a “tree came down on a bus” during Storm Ciarán .
The incident happened this evening at around 7pm in Old Worthing Road in East Preston.
There was believed to be passengers on the bus at the time. It was the Coastliner 700 service going to Brighton.
Sussex Police and West Sussex County Council highways teams are in attendance.
The road is closed while highways teams cut the tree away.
Stagecoach, police and highways team have been approached for comment.
