Christmas shoppers can enjoy free parking on Saturdays during the festive season in several car parks.
This incentive, run in council car parks across the Arun District, is supposed to encourage people to support local shops and businesses on high streets in towns in the area.
Free parking will be offered in off-street car parks on Saturdays in the run-up to Christmas 2023.

Councillor Sue Wallsgrove, chairwoman of the environment committee, said: “This is a great time for local residents and visitors to head to our town centres to get their Christmas shopping done. Free parking helps us all to support our local businesses and also means we can enjoy the festive spirit in our towns.”
The car parks and dates of the free parking are as follows:
- Littlehampton Christmas light switch on November 18 - parking will be free all day in Manor House car park, Littlehampton
- Bognor Christmas lights switch on November 25 2023 – parking will be free all day in Fitzleet car park, Bognor
On December 2:
- Bognor – Lyon Street and Hothamton car parks
- Littlehampton – St Martins car park
On December 9 and December 16:
- Littlehampton – Manor House car park
- Bognor - Fitzleet car park
Rustington also offers three hours of free car parking in both of its main car parks all year round.
