A Sussex hotel has been named a winner at the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence 2023.
Bailiffscourt Hotel & Spa in Climping was recognised in the 'Best Dog-Friendly' hotel category.
Travel website Condé Nast Johansens said the awards are “created to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across our recommended properties.”
They added: “Our world-renowned Awards for Excellence are a trusted mark of quality recognised by consumers and travel professionals alike.”

Bailiffscourt Hotel & Spa was praised by Condé Nast Johansens for its "15th-century vestiges and sumptuous luxuries near the Sussex coast".
The hotel was a haven for the rich and famous near its inception and its parties "attracted many Bright Young Things".
They wrote: "Now the four posters, open log fires, purpose-built spa, two tennis courts, croquet lawn and beautiful views across the countryside draw in a new generation of BYTs seeking good hospitality and great food.
"Menus at Tapestry Restaurant are packed with flavour, and in summer you can eat out in the rose-clad courtyard or rose garden."
On the Bailiffscourt website, it states: "Bailiffscourt is the ultimate country escape. Sink into a comfortable sofa, warmed by a crackling log fire and let us charm you with our friendly, efficient service.
"Families and dogs are most welcome and encouraged to wander, exploring our extensive grounds and the coastline."
On Tripadvisor the hotel has been well-received, earning a score of 4/5 from 1,558 reviews.
One reviewer wrote: "So welcoming ! The staff were extreamly helpful. The food was the best quality and good value too. Had a wonderful relaxing break.
"The outside pool was my favourite. We had an open fire in our room this was the best ever to have that private space sitting cosy with an open fire and pre-dinner drink."
Another put: "Lovely place, staff were very friendly, service was excellent, well done. Garden was delightful to sit in and whilst we only stopped for tea, we were made so welcome.
"Tea was wonderful, a large pot with handmade teabags, exceptional. Just a stones throw from the beach."
