Readers have been sharing their favourite pubs in Sussex with a fireplace as the cold weather begins to hit the county.
Pubs in Shoreham, Findon and Brighton are among those named by Argus readers as the best places to enjoy a drink by a fire after readers were asked for their favourites on social media.
The recommendations come as pubs begin to put the heating back on with customers in from the beer gardens and back towards warmth and shelter.
Multiple readers recommended The Red Lion in Old Shoreham Road.
The 16th-century Shoreham pub features a large beer garden for the summer but also has a traditional fireplace inside as customers begin to seek shelter from the cold.
The pub, open from Wednesday to Sunday, also offers traditional Sunday roasts among its food menu.
